Pentagram Point: Aether / Air — Top Point of the Pattern
Overview:
- Pic de Bugarach: a 1,230-meter peak in the Corbières Massif, Aude, southern France, near Rennes-le-Château. An 'upside-down mountain' — an ancient overthrust fault left older rock strata sitting on top of younger strata.
Novel Relevance:
- Top point of the pentagram = Aether/Air in the series' five-point sacred pattern anchoring Book I.
Timeline:
- 1982 Holy Blood, Holy Grail popularizes the sacred-geometry theory; 2012 doomsday-tourism peak.
Sources:
- Henry Lincoln, Key to the Sacred Pattern; Holy Blood, Holy Grail (1982). Note: the geological fault is real; the pentagram-of-sites claim is fringe/pseudo-historical, not accepted archaeology.
