Overview: - Territory covering modern France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and parts of the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Germany west of the Rhine, plus the Po Valley. Celtic-speaking tribal confederations shared a common religion and sense of common origin, but were politically fragmented rather than unified.
